Well, hello! Welcome to the blog for Three Eleven Photography! Please pull up your chair, get comfy and take a few minutes to peruse my lastest work and other lovely ideas and inspirations on this blog. I am working on a new site that I am so excited to reveal very very soon. I will keep everyone updated right here.

If it's your first time here, let me tell you a little about Three Eleven and myself. My name is Lindsay Ann Corrigan. Photography is one of my passions in life and people are another. With Three Eleven, I get to combine these two things to make my job! I get to capture the most precious times in life and give them as a gift to relive over and over. Weddings, portraits... life. Everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Oh, and if you enjoy what you see and read, please leave a comment!

Cheers!

Lindsay

Meet Samantha! | Three Eleven Photography Internship

I would like to introduce y’all to the very first intern at Three Eleven Photography. This is Samantha! I have so enjoyed our time together. She came to Kinston at the perfect time. She will be doing a lot of guest blogging over the next few months, starting in just a few days.

We had a lovely time doing her promo shoot about a week before I had my son, and I have been DYING to share the photos! I absolutely love them. Leave her a comment and tell her how beautiful she is, please!

Well, without further ado, I’ll let her do the rest of the talking.

Hey all! My name is Samantha Brewer and if you keep reading you are going to get the chance to learn just a little bit about me. I was born and raised in the state of Connecticut. I lived not 15 minutes from the headquarters of ESPN! I went to college in Florida, yet somehow I ended up here in North Carolina. I have to say, I am enjoying it. I had never seen a cotton field until I arrived here in September! Why am I here, you ask? Well, this year I am doing a program called the Kinston Fellows. It is a really amazing program that gives me the opportunity to do some incredible things and meet people who have a great heart for their community. It also gave me the opportunity to meet Lindsay! Okay enough of the hard, cold facts!

On to the fun facts.

I've traveled to three different continents and six different countries.

I am a huge movie nerd. I know the most random facts and could sit and discuss movies forever!

In high school one of my poems won first place in a contest and I have gotten two others published.

I have a huge sweet tooth!

Photography has always been something that I have enjoyed. As a little kid, I always had a camera. I got my first SLR when I was sixteen years old and could not put it down. I believe that the ability to capture a moment, and do it well, is a gift. And it is exciting when you can say that you have done so.

I really enjoy reading. A good book is an adventure waiting to happen.

What I really want to get out of this internship with Lindsay is a greater understanding and appreciation of photography. Working with someone who has more experience with something that you love, whether it be photography or something else, is a great way to grow!
