The more I look at these photos, the more I am endeared to this couple. Right off the bat, Rebecca and her family proved to me that they are some of the sweetest, most kind and considerate people I’ve ever met. I was so thrilled to work with them for Tyler and Rebecca’s wedding. I knew it was going to be a day filled with joy.
When I finally met Tyler on the wedding day, he was so cooperative and I knew it was because he knew how important the photographs were to Rebecca. And from the time he saw her coming down the aisle, I don’t think either of them ever stopped smiling the rest of the day.
I love their story. They actually met in preschool. In fact, they are standing right next to each other in their class photograph! Crazy! Romance finally struck when Tyler was teaching Rebecca how to golf in high school. And the rest is history. I definitely wanted to incorporate the golf lessons into their photos.(Their proposal story is great, too. And you can see more details of Rebecca's dress in her bridals.)
It was such a great day! We started at First Baptist Church, made our way to the waterfront and ended at the Riverfront New Bern Hilton. What do you think?

A good friend of mine, Claire, was my second shooter for this wedding. She took the photo of the church above.

Claire caught the great shot above on the left at the same time a guest’s flash went off. I love the shadows.

They rented a trolley to taxi the bridal party and guests to and from the wedding and reception. Love it!

The above photo on the right was inspired by a popular photo by the amazing Tony Hoffer.

Tyler, Rebecca & family, thank you so much for making Claire and I feel like a part of the family. I cannot express how much I enjoyed capturing this special day for you. I wish you the best and pray that God will bless your life together!
