Well, hello! Welcome to the blog for Three Eleven Photography! Please pull up your chair, get comfy and take a few minutes to peruse my lastest work and other lovely ideas and inspirations on this blog. I am working on a new site that I am so excited to reveal very very soon. I will keep everyone updated right here.

If it's your first time here, let me tell you a little about Three Eleven and myself. My name is Lindsay Ann Corrigan. Photography is one of my passions in life and people are another. With Three Eleven, I get to combine these two things to make my job! I get to capture the most precious times in life and give them as a gift to relive over and over. Weddings, portraits... life. Everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Oh, and if you enjoy what you see and read, please leave a comment!

Cheers!

Lindsay

Sarah & Kyle | Wedding Day Photography Part 2 | New Bern, NC

As you can see, I had trouble narrowing down which photos to share from this wedding. Sarah and Kyle gave me an abundance of time in between the ceremony and reception, and I am gracious. I…LOVE...THESE…IMAGES! The mini cooper had to be included. Find out why here.

This reception rocked! There was real spirit on the dance floor. It reminded me so much of weddings in my family. I saw some movers and shakers out there on the dance floor.

CK Entertainment’s Frankie Hill kept the party going throughout the whole night. The New Bern Golf and Country Club did an amazing job and was so gracious and hospitable to the fellow vendors.

Kyle and Sarah, I am almost sad your wedding day is over. It was a joy being a part of and capturing your wedding. I am ecstatic that you want me capture more memories! Can’t wait! (no pressure) Cheers!

Sarah & Kyle | Wedding Day Photography Part 1 | New Bern, NC

Let me just tell you that I absolutely love this couple. We just clicked! I knew we would hit it off when Sarah pulled out her wedding binder at our first meeting. I found out the feeling was mutual when Sarah told me after the meeting that both her and Kyle could see themselves being friends with me outside this whole wedding thing. That is THE best thing a couple can tell me!

As the wedding day grew closer, I found out even more amazing things about this couple, especially after reading every word of their wedding website. You just have to read the story about how they met. Go ahead, you can read it here!

Kyle and Sarah are just so in love! I am so joyful to share their wedding photography with you. The looks and laughter are priceless, and we had a beautiful day at the New Bern Golf and Country Club. Check back early next week for part two!

This is their sweet pup, who found a comfy spot while all the girls got ready.

Kyle and Sarah, I seriously had a blast shooting your wedding. The details were gorgeous. You are a picture of what God intended when he founded marriage. So many perfect photo ops, I was just ecstatic!

I pray that God blesses you and brings you ever closer to himself and each other. Thank you for letting me capture such a glorious day!

Also a shout out to my awesome second shooter, Travis Bartlett, for some great shots of Kyle and the groomsmen getting ready. And Taylor, my assistant who I could not have done without! Sometimes the sun is our enemy! I believe we made a spectacular team!

Tyler + Rebecca ∙ October 2, 2010 ∙ New Bern Wedding Photographer

The more I look at these photos, the more I am endeared to this couple. Right off the bat, Rebecca and her family proved to me that they are some of the sweetest, most kind and considerate people I’ve ever met. I was so thrilled to work with them for Tyler and Rebecca’s wedding. I knew it was going to be a day filled with joy.

When I finally met Tyler on the wedding day, he was so cooperative and I knew it was because he knew how important the photographs were to Rebecca. And from the time he saw her coming down the aisle, I don’t think either of them ever stopped smiling the rest of the day.

I love their story. They actually met in preschool. In fact, they are standing right next to each other in their class photograph! Crazy! Romance finally struck when Tyler was teaching Rebecca how to golf in high school. And the rest is history. I definitely wanted to incorporate the golf lessons into their photos.(Their proposal story is great, too. And you can see more details of Rebecca's dress in her bridals.)

It was such a great day! We started at First Baptist Church, made our way to the waterfront and ended at the Riverfront New Bern Hilton. What do you think?

A good friend of mine, Claire, was my second shooter for this wedding. She took the photo of the church above.

Claire caught the great shot above on the left at the same time a guest’s flash went off. I love the shadows.

They rented a trolley to taxi the bridal party and guests to and from the wedding and reception. Love it!

The above photo on the right was inspired by a popular photo by the amazing Tony Hoffer.

Tyler, Rebecca & family, thank you so much for making Claire and I feel like a part of the family. I cannot express how much I enjoyed capturing this special day for you. I wish you the best and pray that God will bless your life together!

Rebecca ∙ Bridals ∙ Jarvis Mansion, New Bern

I am writing this last Friday night, and just a little bit ago Rebecca and her mom came by my house to pick up some prints from Rebecca’s bridal portrait session. Rebecca was so full of excitement and she looked amazing in an ivory dress and a feathered hair piece. Every time I’ve seen her, she is constantly smiling, but tonight was different. I could see in her eyes the anticipation for tomorrow. At the same time, she seemed to be enjoying all of the activities leading up to the wedding. I am so thankful I could spend these few moments with her before tomorrow.

I have had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Rebecca and her parents over the past few weeks. Just last month, we headed to the Jarvis Mansion for Rebecca’s bridals.  This New Bern wedding venue is an exquisite historic home that is available for ceremonies, receptions and rehearsals. The bridal suite is absolutely beautiful! And Rebecca fit right in with all of the elegant tapestries in her Maggie Sottero gown from The Intimate in New Bern. Wasn’t she absolutely stunning?!

I am so honored Rebecca chose me to capture the most momentous day of her life! The wedding photos will be up soon!

(If you look at the Sneak Peek of this shoot, you will understand the ring photo :)

Thank you, Rebecca! I have so enjoyed every one of our meetings and getting to know your sweet family. I am sooooo excited for tomorrow. I just know it is going to be positively wonderful.
