Well, hello! Welcome to the blog for Three Eleven Photography! Please pull up your chair, get comfy and take a few minutes to peruse my lastest work and other lovely ideas and inspirations on this blog. I am working on a new site that I am so excited to reveal very very soon. I will keep everyone updated right here.

If it's your first time here, let me tell you a little about Three Eleven and myself. My name is Lindsay Ann Corrigan. Photography is one of my passions in life and people are another. With Three Eleven, I get to combine these two things to make my job! I get to capture the most precious times in life and give them as a gift to relive over and over. Weddings, portraits... life. Everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Oh, and if you enjoy what you see and read, please leave a comment!

Cheers!

Lindsay

Butterflies | Museum of Life and Science, Durham | Thirty photos in Thirty Days

We visited the Museum of Life and Science in Durham today where photographic opportunities abound! What an excellent place! The whole day is not nearly enough to see everything, and we could only stay until nap time.

I took a lot more photos than this, but in honor of McG’s Very Hungry Caterpillar party this weekend, I decided to share some photos from the butterfly conservatory. I took some 3-year portraits of McG, too and will be sharing them soon!

Side note: this is a really unique wedding venue. There are nature walks and lots of very scenic areas.  We saw a butterfly release this morning and I wondered if it could be incorporated into a wedding ceremony.

Elite Bridal Concierge ∙ Featured!

Butterflies fluttered in my stomach when I looked at my first blog feature that was posted just moments ago by Elite Bridal Concierge! I’ve seen my name in print before, but it’s always been on the byline. This is the first actual public review of my work and I am just honored!

I was so excited when Tabitha Dantzler, owner of Elite Bridal Concierge, emailed me asking to feature Joe, Kristi & Kara’s session, on her blog. Tabitha and I met in February at a bridal show and she was so enthusiastic and generous. We have kept in touch and she has offered me a wealth of wisdom regarding social media and blogging. She is the one who really inspired me to start this blog.

It just so happened that I met Kristi at the same bridal show and here we are again all connecting. Kristi hired Elite Bridal Concierge as her wedding consultant and I know she was thrilled with their work. Tabitha has a keen eye for style and will offer sound advice when it comes to your wedding. Check out her blog for tons of ideas and inspiration.
